The annual Gamescom event has officially returned this year, and the titular Opening Night Live showcase once again kicks off the week with a bunch of brand new game trailers and announcements. So in case you missed the livestream, or simply want to catch up on what was shown, here is the official Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 Recap…

And that’s it for Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022! There were some big announcements, plus some further looks at upcoming games. Obviously there are some titles we wish we saw there like Starfield and God of War: Ragnarok, but hopefully we’ll hear more about them soon.
We’re bound to get more information on a lot of them over the coming week as Gamescom continues, with preview gameplay and new details. As for the next big games showcase? Currently there’s nothing officially announced apart from The Game Awards which will take place on December 8th. But we’re bound to get another PlayStation State of Play before then, right Sony?
So what do you think? Did you watch Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022? What newly announced games are you most excited for? Which games were you happy to see more of? And which ones did you wish you saw? Let us know!

The Lords of the Fallen finally officialy revealed, Lords of the Fallen 1 was my first soul game so i have fond memories of it

Lies of P looks better with every trailer. I know most people have their eyes on Dead Island 2 and Hogwarts Legacy and I am looking forward to them as well but Lies of P just looks and feels so cool.

Waiting for The Callisto Protocol and Dead island 2 I always felt like dead island's story had more of an identity than dying light (2). It remains to be seen if they can do gameplay better than their offshoot.

They said the game has been in development for 4 year, so why did it have an announcement trailer E3 2014??? More like the game was in dev hell for quite a bit.
PC Specs
what they meant is that this version of the game was in development for 4years, it changed like 3-4studios since 2014
PC Specs
Yeah, it just came off shady... 4 years dev time, right guys (plz no one find the 2014 announcement trailer)? They were radio silent for a while...

sadly dead island 2 looks nowhere near like the previous dead island games... it doesn't have that survival thrill anymore and looks more like stomping zombies for fun with different mechanics
