GeForce RTX 3050 Game Requirement Analysis
Overview GeForce RTX 3050 is an entry level GeForce 30 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance graphics card based on the Ampere architecture. Architecture The Ampere architecture represents a process shrink down to 7nm compared to 12nm Turing. The Ampere architecture provides the world's next consumer support for real-time ray-tracing technology, or RTX. The GeForce RTX 3050 does support real-time ray-tracing and excels at 1080p screen resolution. GPU It equips an Ampere GPU codenamed GA107 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1365 MHz and goes up to 1680 MHz, in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1750MHz, or 14GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 80W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector. System Suggestions GeForce RTX 3050 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 2560x1440. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
