Not just that, but the developers have also revealed the official PC system requirements, which has taken a significant upgrade over the previous game...

Slime Rancher 2 is officially launching in Early Access on September 22nd. If you were a fan of the original title, then you might want to make sure your PC is up to scratch since the specs have increased quite a bit. However, the requirements can change down the line due to updates and optimization over its Early Access period.

With that said let's jump in and take a look at the official Slimer Rancher 2 PC system requirements...

Slime Rancher 2 Recommended system requirements

• OS: Windows 10 64-bit
• CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
• RAM: 16GB
• GPU RAM: 8GB
• GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
• DX: 11
• Storage: 8GB

Your PC will need a graphics card that is at least as powerful as an RTX 2070 or RX 5700, paired with either a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1500X processor in order to match the Slime Rancher 2 recommended system requirements. This setup will likely then achieve 60fps performance on High graphics settings at 1080p resolution. 16GB of RAM is also recommended.

Slime Rancher 2 needs a GPU that is at least as powerful as a GTX 960 or R9 280 coupled with a Core i5-2500K or FX-6300 CPU in order to match the minimum system requirements. This will then likely achieve 30fps performance on Low graphics settings at 1080p resolution. You will also need at least 8GB of system memory.

Overall, looking at the specs above we recommend at least a 3 year old PC in order to play Slime Rancher 2 at its best.
